Illustration
Illustration is the best of both worlds for me, I’m a fine artist at my core and I would be absolutely delighted to be paid to do fine art for a living. Illustration is my dream job. I can do illustrations that are on paper and I can do illustrations digitally, realistic illustrations and stylized illustrations. I hope you enjoy my breadth of work.

The Promised Land
When I was traveling through Montana and Wyoming I took a photo from on top of Signal T Road looking down on the Yellowstone Valley that inspired this illustration. I could only imagine what it was like going through there on horseback or possibly even herding cattle there for the first time, not just in the Yellowstone area but through all of MT and WY.

Eagle and Monarchs
During our trip to Aguascalientes I saw a mural of a golden eagle and it really inspired me. I wanted to make a piece that represented how I saw Aguascalientes. Monarch butterflies make their way through Mexico every year and they are so colorful and beautiful just like Mexico. The eagle is strong and proud like the people.

Inktober 2022
From the Inktober website — “Josh Parker created Inktober in 2009 as a challenge to improve his inking skills and develop positive drawing habits. It has since grown into a worldwide endeavor with thousands of artists taking on the challenge every year.”
You can participate two ways: you can do 31 drawings for 31 days in October or you can do one drawing every week for the whole year. I chose to do the month of October in 2022!
